We are a local project based in Birmingham aiming to promote well-being by connecting people and plants through gardening. We are engaged in hot composting – we compost all the school’s food waste and turn it into energy. Food and plant growing, and upcycling of wooden pallets into furniture.

Supported work
Three times a week, a dedicated team of volunteers with learning support needs takes part in supportive and inclusive outdoor gardening activities. They contribute meaningfully to the project by assisting with planting, composting, and ongoing site maintenance. This not only provides purposeful engagement and skill-building opportunities but also fosters social inclusion, helping to reduce isolation through teamwork in a positive, nurturing environment.
